"18x24" is a photographic series that explores the complexities of human interaction within the limitations of physical space. The title itself holds a double meaning. It refers to the standard dimensions of the final artwork, a mere 18 inches by 24 inches, alluding to the confined environments we often inhabit – apartments, offices, cafes. Yet, the title also hints at something far grander. 18 and 24, as numbers, lack the emotional resonance we imbue into our connections with others. These seemingly cold, finite spaces become stages for the expansive and infinite possibilities of human connection.

The photographs within the series capture unscripted moments of intimacy, vulnerability, and shared experiences within these everyday settings. A nap on a train, conversations between genii. A single figure, contemplates loss and rebuilding, yet their posture reveals a connection to something far vaster than their physical surroundings. By focusing on these microcosms of human interaction, "18x24" invites viewers to ponder the vastness of the human experience within the confines of our constructed environments.
